Visix User Instructions (for display owners and content contributors)

  1. Go to https://kuvisix.ku.edu/manager

     
  2. Login into KU's Single Sign-On KU Online ID.



    If you need access to digital signage content server, please contact itmps@ku.edu for information.
  1. Click on 9-dot menu at top right and select "Manage"

     
  2. Click hamburger menu at top left and choose "Playlists"

     
  3. Highlight playlist you'd like to add content to.

     
  4. Click "Media File" under "Schedule" menu.

    For multiple image uploads, choose "Batch of Stills"

     
  5. Click "Choose File" and select image or video file.

     
  6. Click "Import"

    For .jpg and .png images, choose "Visix Raster Image Viewer" for "Plays With."  For .mp4 video files, choose "Windows Media Player."

     
  7. Choose Transition type and how many seconds message will remain on screen.

     
  8. Choose "Always" to add to playlist rotation indefinitely.  Choose "Recurring" to set a begin and end date.

     
  9. Choose Add To ("Beginning," Middle," or "End")

     
  10. Click "Finished" button to end.
  1. Click hamburger menu at top left and choose "Playlists"

     
  2. Click pencil icon on playlist you'd like to manage.

     
  3. Click-and-drag message icons to the order in which you'd like them to play on playlist.

  2. Click pencil icon on playlist you'd like to manage.

     
  3. Click to highlight icon of message you'd like to delete.

     
  4. Scroll down to bottom right and click "Remove from Schedule" button.
